Mexican craziness

Hello all,

Yet another uneventful day in the life of Eric...just the way it should be. This is me after my 2 weeks in Penticton, fully relaxed without shaving and all. I made myself shave and look nice so Debbie wouldn´t be scared off at first sight when i got here. Its so nice just to relax and not have any worries. Debbie had the last day and a half off so it was nice to be able to spend some more time with her. I feel like a house husband because whenever she gets time off all i want to do is get out of the house and do something fun or anything whatsoever just to get out of the house. Yesterday we went to the beach, no need to ask if it was nice weather or not, everyday is nice weather. The occasional thunderhead rolls over but never lasts for all day. I guess i just missed rainy season by a week. It was a bit different at the beach this time though, the waves were smaller and there seemed to be more people, still not a lot of tourists.
Then we walked around plaza a la fiesta in the hotel district. I highly recommend wandering around it if you ever come here. its a mall...but not not really. everything was outdoor but there was still the fancy shops like oakley and zara and jewlery shops and stuff all inside. So you could either enjoy the fact that you are in a mall or enjoy the river going through it with boat tours and the lagoon in the background. Lots of music and boats going by. Debbie tells me there are even crocodiles!! So we sat by the lagoon and looked for crocodiles for a while. This is while eating the most expensive but best icecream i´d ever imagined eating. Good thing i don´t ask prices before we do things. We are planning on getting dressed up and going back here to eat have a couple drinks and possibly go to the coco bongo club or something like that on wednesday.
The reason for this post is to see if i can post a couple pictures. In case you wanted to know, the walk to the internet cafe is about 500 metres, full of mexican craziness. An old lady mexican peered at me through her unseen eyes as i walked by her...then another old lady with only 1 eye didn´t look at me at all. I am the lonely englishmen here, not so much other then local mexicans. More on that later.

Here we go, guess its just slower then it should be. Here is Debbie and I on my first day here. LOOK! nice and shaved. Now all i need is a haircut so I don´t have to wear the hat.

I will post more Pictures next time, been here an hour now and there are no sign stating how much it is after an hour...plus its getting dark, my mom said i should always get home before dark.
