These guys over at penny-arcade.com are always in with the gaming stuff. What an idea...start a comic on video gaming and get paid for it! Now all these guys do is sit around and to ¨administrative¨work. This is their latest and greatest. I think it really reflects the current gaming industry and how stupidly outrageous it is to have to pre-order! I guess it´s better than waiting in line-ups for the games or systems. When Halo 2 came out at midnight on some night a couple years ago, my buddies steve and mike came up from Penticton, and a few other buddies from Calgary gathered together Scott, Lance and I´s duplex. We set up a couple TV´s and played for a couple days straight, more for the fact of drinking for a few days straight. I hazely remember falling asleep at the wheel trying to drive through one of the levels with bob. He would have to punch me a couple times to wake up. Back to the point...there was a huge line of people in blockbuster, it whirled around the entire store. I got back from work at 12, went there, asked how long they were open for. They said 2am. I said, i´ll be back. I came back at 1. There was no line, pizza waiting for me, plus a t-shirt, plus i got the platinum addition instead of the normal addition. YA ya ya, i´m a geek, video games are better then watching tv non stop.
