backup your music collection

Some people that read this may not know how to go about downloading music and such off the internet. So instead of sending out an email just to my parents. It is to anyone that reads it, although most of you are already internet savvy. But it is easy.

First download a torrent client such as Azureus and install it.

The rest is easy. Search for the album of your choice. Recently i just backed up the new beatles album "Love." I am just listening to it now, it is an excellent compilation of some good ol beatles.
So the easiest way to search is to use isohunt. Once you connect to that page enter in the search at the top beatles love. The search will bring up a bunch of various downloads for the beatles. Some are actually every single song they ever produced. But in the results table the important things to look at are the size column and the "S" column. The size for an average album is anywhere between 60 MB and 120MB. If it is bigger then that, you are downloading more then one of their albums. The "S" column number that you see is how many other people are downloading the same file. The bigger the number the faster you will get your download (in most cases).
Use the same steps to download music, videos, software. It is illegal to do so for the most part. So for copyright purposes just do it to back up what you already have.
If the search at isohunt comes up with nothing you want. Go to google and search for beatles love torrent. You can find anything there, just add torrent to whatever you are searching for. Any questions, let me know.

I am going to Tulum tomorrow to do some touristy thing like climb up pyramids and walk through ruins. Hopefully my rechargable batteries that don´t like humidity will last a while! Also, Happy Kings Day. Today all the youngens get presents from the 3 kings. They all left a sealed letter in their shoes tonight asking for cool things. I think the kings brought me something to Debbie´s parents house...i wonder what i´ll get if i didn´t ask for anything¿!?

PS - if you would like to get an email whenever i update the page click on the RSS subscribe button in the top right.
