Spring is here!

New opportunities are on the horizon for me this year. I'm still in paradise, aka kelowna, and getting to love it more. Now that I'm newly single, you never know, i could be off to a new paradise.

As a result of Packeteer being aquired by Blue Coat I do not know my near future. Right now it is business as usual and everyone is just waiting to hear if our new owners will still want us in Kelowna. For career sake, the best situation would be that they do want to keep us, i get to keep my job, i keep training in the SQA (Software Quality Assurance)field. Packeteer has approved for myself to go on a Network Security course this coming July down in San Jose. This should be a perfect combination with what i already have expertise in because Blue Coat is mainly a network security in combination with WAN optimization. All we can do is wait and see though.

As you can see above, i bought myself a dual sport bike. It is a 1986 XL600R. Unfortunately my truck is less expensive than my bike, but it still gets me around. A few people have been calling my bike a 80's fridge truck. None the less, camping is going to be great this year. I'm hoping this summer will go down in history as one of the greatest. 25 is a good age to be. Activities will include camping, soccer league, beach volleyball, all-sport league, motorbiking, fishing, and meeting new people.

When i'm not doing that i'll probably still be on xbox live playing halo or gta iv.
