There's Gonna Be Some Rockin

Tomorrow is the day i've been waiting for. The best day of the year. It is the 28th annual Clam Chowder Festival. I finally met a group of people that like to just sit around and play video games and have a couple drinks. It doesn't matter where in the world you are, clubs will always be expensive and pointless. I'm looking forward to hanging out with them more.

Life is more bearable here now that I have 2 vehicles and a gameplan. It's really hard to be content with life when you feel trapped. I've always thought I could handle any situation because I'm easy going. Have it be known that some situations are extremely hard on anyone when they go through them. I now know why these engineers that live here have a reputation of being anti-social. They are all from different places of the world, they came here not knowing anyone, they only know how to interact with their own people, they realize it is just easier to sit at home and mind numb yourself with TV instead of interacting with people. This has been an incredible learning experience though, I didn't realize how much not having a social life would effect your own life. It really makes a person sit back and think about themselves more than normal. It's good to do now and then, everyone should try it sometime. Ask yourself "Where am i now?", "Where do i want to be", "How can i be a better person?." This is a bit of different thinking for me because i've always seemed to have occupied my time with video games, sports, socializing, any other kind of activity. So far it's worked not thinking about that crap, it's egocentric and pitiful. My view on everything is think of all the different possibilities the outcome could be, could've been, or seemed like it was...consider them...then pick the most positive and probable option and stick with it. It may sound naive and ignorant but it works.

I'm waiting for something to download, might as well do this.
