new home

I'm in my new house with new people in a new city. I made the big move all the way from North San Jose to a little place called Sunnyvale. It is only 1.1 miles away from my office so it will be nice to listen to music and walk to work every day. The nice thing about this area is you can almost completely trust the weather report.

So far i got my bed setup and my clothes in a big pile in the closet. Oh ya, my tv and xbox are set up as well. This last weekend I spent Friday night moving. It took about 4 hours from beginning of cleaning to last thing moved into my new place. Saturday i hung out with one of my new roommates. We played some pool and watched some March madness at a pub nearby. Then afterwards i met up with a few other friends of mine and went and did some drunkin bowling. You can't go wrong with beer and bowling. It was a good time. The next day on the other hand was a bit on the rough side. Trying to wake up to go mountain biking was one of the more difficult things i've done in a while. I forgot what that feels like. Water was drank and hills were climbed and raced down even with the major hang over. The area we went to was pretty neat. There were lots of people hiking and biking in the area. The peak of the trail took you to a lookout where you could see the entire valley including the southern tip of san francisco bay. Since it was just a hill i didn't really feel like i was out of the city. Plus all the people around didn't help to much either. Next time i'll get further away from the concrete jungle i think.

This week i need to get some laundry done, find a dentist, do my taxes and go grocery shopping. 4 things in life you can't get away from! Until next weekend...
