is anyone out there??

I don't necessarily have anything to write about this post. I think the only reason I'm writing is because I made a bed with the girl who writes this blog. She's one of my good friends down here and needs to quit smoking. She said that if I write in my blog once per week she will quit smoking. If I can help a friend live a healthier life and all I have to do is ramble then why not? Most of you will probably like her blog. She writes about real, life, down to earthy stuff. I personally like her post about a red bouncy ball. It reminds me of someone I know. Anyway, enjoy her blog, it's better than mine.

There are so many reasons to own and maintain a blog, but none of the reasons involve having more time to play video games, watch hockey, or hang out with friends. I'm doing this at 11:00pm on a tuesday night not really knowing where i'm going with it. The trouble most of the time is thinking about what to write in it. Things to think about...who actually reads this besides whomever i send the link to...which is probably only all family. The little counter in the left column gathers stats for me in order to help decide what I should be writing. I just looked. It says 60% of the viewers are from Canada, which tells me that it is pretty much all friends and family. It also says the majority are using Internet Explorer 6.0 in order to view my blog, which means 20% are family because you probably aren't exactly sure how or if you want to upgrade from the oldest, least secure, slowest web browser out there. So i'll help you out. If you are using Internet Explorer at all, please stop and download Google Chrome before going any further. For the somewhat advanced user, go to the Google Extensions page to install useful tools to make browsing the internet easier and more fun. Note to all, don't be scared because i know what browser you have, what operating sytem you have, what country you're in and bank account information. It's not as easy as people make it sound to actually hack into your computer and get important information. I don't really have anyones bank account information by the way. The most important thing to remember when using the internet is to not open anything you aren't sure where you got it from or who is sending it. Just because it says "if you click on this you can become a millionaire", don't click on it.

With that said, I'm guessing out of the majority of people viewing my blog if you have any questions at all about properly using the internet and your computer feel free to ask, other people reading will probably have the same questions. There is a comment button at the bottom. Feel free to use it and i'll do my best to answer or find the answer.

As for life...life is good. Right now there is a good possibility of moving back to Penticton. Not because i have a job there, but because i don't have a job here in the Silicon Valley anymore. I have a few options that i'm looking at. Of course some are better than others. One of them involve just fishing and camping in BC all summer. Of course i'll do some courses while i'm not working if that is the case, but who knows what will come up in the next 2 months. It's still possible i could land a job with Google, which would mean staying down here for more years. It's already been 1.5 years and I can understand why people that live here don't want to live anywhere else. It's a great place for everyone and anyone that loves outdoors and great opportunities. Where's my helicopter?!?

Until Next Time!

I know...I know...but it's Heatley!! He's from Canada, so are the rest of the Sharks. Flames aren't even going to make the play-offs, no point in cheering for them
