Here I am, sitting at work on Remembrance Day. For those americans out there that aren't aware, Canadians are rewarded a day off in order to commemorate the sacrifices made by our veterans. I'm not sure if us Canadians use this day properly or what exactly it is we are supposed to use it for. Lest we forget! Ok, I think I did what i'm supposed to do. Yes, i'm working on a holiday. Yes, I rather be hunting or playing Black OPS or other various activities. What's the point of taking a holiday in the middle of the week for no reason. I can hunt or play video games on any given weekend. In return for working today, I get my choice of a day off in the future. Not a bad deal eh!?
For those who say that writing in a blog isn't working, they are wrong. I'm actually multi-tasking. The device i'm working on is loading at a snails pace. Don't go make any presumptions about the company I work for because I'm not working on any of our products right now. The best part of my job is the fact that i'm now writing in my forgotten about blog, watching canucks vs sens live, waiting for a snowmobile to go on sale for a good deal and waiting for my work to work so i can work. Time well spent i'd say. Oh ya...i also grabbed a beer out of the 'beverage fridge' at work. Jealous yet? Good good.
