we´re free!

Hola everyone,

It´s been awhile since i got a chance to write anything. I´ve been to busy cruising on my new scooter! That´s right! We bought a scooter. Pretty funny because when i first came here we went to walmart and i was like, what the hell, you guys have a walmart, and its 24 hours, and they sell scooters!! haha, who would buy a scooter from walmart? low and behold, we bought a scooter from walmart, and we are doing a payment plan on it. my scooter. So its pretty nice. For $1400 who can complain?

We have been pretty busy riding that around and hanging out with her parents. They have their xmas tree set up all ready. We ended up going to Xel-Ha a couple weekends ago and it was beautiful. Crystal clear water with fish and turtles swimming around everywhere. they have places with cliffs to jump into the river. the water current was really weak so it wasn´t dangerous at all.

Last weekend was pretty crazy. Fong and Johnny Gavros ended up coming down to the area last week. So deb and i took her parents car and met them in playa de carmen friday night. The only problem was we had to work the next day at 10 and there was a bar hop. Luckily we are in Mexico and they are pretty relaxed about everything. They all paid $60 a head to go on this bar hop. Debbie and i paid 0. They didn´t even know i was going to be there. All of a sudden i was yelling down at them from a patio above them as they were coming into the bar i we were in. Debbie and i started out with a litre of beer each...the glass was the size of debbies head. pretty funny watching her downing it. The bar, called carlos and charlies was pretty packed and the workers got everyone dancing and doing a congo and lap dance competitions. Then we headed to Senor frog´s where we continued to do a bit more drinking, but for free now since fong and them just handed there free beer to us and then got more. They wore wristbands but somehow deb and i still got a ride in their party bus to the last bar called mambo cafe, got in for free, free shots to start off with. it was good to go. a live band started up with the trumpets and trombones and everything, it was a blast. When debbie and i stepped out of the bar we had no idea where we had parked, luckily my 6th sense kicked in and we walked around 1 corner to find our car parked there...that could have turned out bad. it was 650 pesos for one night there, i was going to try to bring him down in price since it was 2am but debbie was in no condition to go further unfortunatly! i won´t say anymore then that. It was our first real party night since i´ve been here and it turned out good, to bad we only have 300 pesos left until next friday.

cheers everyone, hope everything is going good in the cold frontier, we are getting a bit of a colder front coming down from you blokes!

later,

Formo,

Sounds like you guys had a awesome party fun filled evening...I thought Debbi wasn't going to party hard anymore...kidding - or was that just drinking Tequila? Anyway, do you need a license to drive a scooter down there? Thats pretty cool if you don't. Don't run over any locals you gringo.

Cheers Buddy

Cory
